3.32, 1190 got me in here, and the standards are rising at a breakthrough pace. Apply early and attend one of the best universities in the nation.

It isn't incredibly difficult to get in - assuming you're in the top 25% or so of your class and have a 24+ ACT, you should get accepted.
If you want Honors status, as you should because we get priority scheduling which is quite useful, be in the top 10% and have a 30 ACT. If you don't qualify, apply anyways. I was top 13% but got into the Honors program regardless.

I transferred from another university and did not do anything in particular to get into OSU. I attented Columbus State (the local community college) for a semester before applying to OSU so, since they often work together, perhaps that helped. Just work hard and show them that you are interested.
